President’s Message for January 2026

It’s been warm, wonderful, challenging, and celebratory, but it is time for my association with NAMI Central Middlesex to end. Thank you for the opportunity to serve this deserving community for a decade. I will step aside as an active volunteer at the end of January 2026.

The affiliate will transition from a NAMI Model A independent 501c3 organization to a NAMI Model B. This affiliate newsletter, “The Bridge,” will pause publication. The Central Middlesex Family Support Groups, Family to Family and Basics classes, with your favorite Central Middlesex volunteers, will continue but will temporarily be listed as NAMI MA programs for the approximate year long interim transition period. Still the same welcoming helpful programs! Central Middlesex supporters will continue to be welcome at the annual NAMI Walks event.

The local mission of NAMI Central Middlesex will still depend on volunteers. Please consider lending some energy to maintain the NAMI programs that help our community members navigate mental health concerns. Reach out to nami.cmsx@gmail.com.
